Plan for the season, stay flexible.

Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka often see their main flowering period from late March into early April. Higher elevations and northern regions usually follow later. A multi-city journey creates several opportunities to see different stages of bloom.

Planning spring 2027

These are historical seasonal patterns, not confirmed bloom dates. Forecasts become useful closer to spring and will change with the weather. We can build in varied gardens, cultural visits, and flexible sightseeing days so your trip remains rewarding throughout.

Choosing your dates

For an earlier visit, consider Kawazu cherry varieties on the Izu Peninsula. For later travel, ask about Tohoku, Hirosaki, Hakodate, and Sapporo. Exact routing should follow local conditions and your available dates.
